The City College of San Francisco's Photography Department, one of the most extensive and established, offers an array of courses such as History and Aesthetics of Photography, Advanced B&W Darkroom Techniques, Advanced Studio Lighting, Digital Imaging, and Mixed Media and Business Practices of Photography.

College professors and personnel promote creativity and analytical thought so that students achieve and become successful professionals.
